Labor Day Weekend a Success!

Labor Day Weekend at Great Lakes Dragaway, the best show of the year. The stands were full of people and the baddest racing in the midwest was on the track. The weekend started out promising for the Legend Racing Crew; making a test hit Saturday morning we went 7.02@202.8mph...
however a battery malfunction kept us from running the 1st qualifying run. 2nd round of qualifying we came out against Pete Demos, an LRE customer, and ran hard till about 700 feet when the blower belt broke. We coasted to a 7.70 @ 170 mph...
On Sunday we came out first round running a 6.96@205, with a lot of room left in the tune-up especially in the first 600 feet of the track..

Our 2nd run we stepped it up a bit knowing we needed to run a 6.905 or better to get in. We ran 6.865@206 right down the track. We got bumped by a 6.859, however it was one of our customers Pete who bumped us so LRE was still in the show!

It was a great time all weekend long, tons of great fans and a ton of great racing..
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the trailer. We are still working on getting some Tshirts, just not enough time in the day right now.
