Our 2008 season began somewhat slow with some cylinder head issues, but ended in great fashion! Early in the year, we showed promise with big MPH runs. We knew the horsepower was there and in May at Da Grove we went 7.13 @ 202mph and 7.07 @ 205mph.

After the cylinder head issues were put to rest we went to work on getting the chassis right. It took the better part of the year to do so to fix it. 

Right off the trailer at Byron the car finally showed its true potential by running 6.86 @ 205mph. Then we backed it up with a 6.83 @ 201mph. We just barely missed the Quick Two at Byron. We left the tune up alone for our next time out.

At the Top Dog Shootout the car went 6.85 @ 205mph right off the trailer, in less then stellar conditions, once again. Qualifying us #3 in between two of our own customers, Rick Blaisdell #2 and Pete Demos #4.

First round, we had a solo pass and went 6.77 @ 199mph. The throttle close to 1000' into the run, we showed great promise towards the end of the year.

The race was shortened to 1/8th mile due to weather conditions, we won next round and made it to the final. The final was a draw due to snow, really it was snowing!

So we ended the year on a positive note. The car is working like it should once again and with the proven HP of Doug's 526" Bullet. Next year, we should be able to make it a good consistent year!
